2018 Mission for melanomaWA
The 2018 Mission for melanomaWA (M4mWA)
The M4mWA is a 2 day, off road event along the Kep Track through the beautiful John Forrest National Park. Will you ride 100 miles or walk a marathon for melanomaWA?
This 3rd M4mWA was held on Friday 24th – Saturday 25th August, along the way the team stopped at schools and community groups to raise awareness of melanoma.
Every year this event just gets better and better.
Our amazing Mission for melanomaWA riders, walkers and support crew including John Curtin Leadership Academy Students, words cannot describe the inspiration and motivation that you give us to continue to minimise the impact of melanoma and skin cancer here in Western Australia! It is a privilege to be in your company throughout this event.
We would like to say the biggest thank you to all those who contributed to the success of this years event. This includes our major partner Thrifty Australia and event sponsors Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd and 32 South Apparel. To all those who donated. The schools we visited along the way (Chidlow Primary, Mount Helena Primary School, Parkerville Primary School, Sawyers Valley Primary School, and Wooroloo Primary School) and the Lions Club of Northam who joined us for breakfast and presented us with a generous donation. Also The Local Spokesman for making sure all of the bikes are up to standard before hitting the track and A Patch of Country for their ongoing support.
