We are pleased to announce that the 5th Mission for melanomaWA (M4mWA) will be held on Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 October 2020. M4mWA is a life-changing ride to make a difference for the WA melanoma community.
M4mWA promises to be a fun and challenging adventure. It’s a two-day 160km off-road cycling event, from Swan View to Northam and return, through the John Forrest National Park along the picturesque Kep Track.
This year’s M4mWA is dedicated to Aaron Wilson, Operations Manager at melanomaWA, who sadly lost his life to melanoma in 2019, aged 38.
All funds raised will help provide vital melanoma community nursing services to support WA melanoma patients and carers.
Melanoma is the most common cancer affecting 15 to 39-year-old Australians and one Australian is diagnosed with melanoma every 30 minutes. WA is second only to Queensland in terms of melanoma incidence in Australia.
There are many ways you can be a part of Mission for melanomaWA:
melanomaWA has a mission to reduce the impact of melanoma in the WA community by directly supporting WA patients and their families. melanomaWA is now part of Melanoma Institute Australia, which means expanded services for the WA melanoma community.
Please support our Mission and change lives for WA melanoma patients.
There is still time to prepare! Please see our M4mWA website if you have any questions.
