The Mission for melanomaWA (M4mWA) is back for 2018!
The M4mWA a 2 day, 100 mile off road cycling event from Perth to Northam and return on the Kep Track through the beautiful John Forrest National Park.
This 3rd M4mWA is set for Friday 24th – Saturday 25th August, along the way the team will be stopping at schools and community groups to raise awareness of melanoma. One of our 2016 M4mWA riders, put it best when they said… “Why do we ride? For the kids… our bikes are the vehicles that carry us to bring our melanoma awareness and prevention message to the kids and communities” – Derek Carroll 2016
All you need is a Cyclocross, Mountain or any Bike with 32mm tyres and you are good to go.
This year we are introducing a 1 day (approx 40km) walk to the bike ride, so whether you are a rider or a walker, the M4mWA is for you.
There will be the opportunity to visit school and community groups to raise awareness of melanoma along the way!
As part of the ride we will ask each individual to raise funds so that we can continue our awareness initiatives and support programs.
Your support of this event will help all those touched by melanoma in our community.
