The Mission for melanomaWA is back for 2017! We are hosting an INFORMATION SESSION for riders and support crew who have joined or are interested in joining our 100 mile ride from Swan View to York and return.
This second M4mWA is set for Friday 18th – Saturday 19th August, along the way the team will be stopping at schools and community groups to raise awareness of melanoma. One of our 2016 M4mWA riders, put it best when they said… “Why do we ride? For the kids… our bikes are the vehicles that carry us to bring our melanoma awareness and prevention message to the kids and communities” – Derek Carroll 2016
All you need is a Cyclocross, Mountain or any Bike with 32mm tyres and you are good to go.
There will be the opportunity to visit school and community groups to raise awareness of melanoma along the way!
As part of the ride we will ask each individual to raise funds so that we can continue our awareness initiatives and support programs. Fundraising Goals: Rider – $1000, Support – $250.
Your support of this event will help all those touched by melanoma in our community. If you can’t make it to the M4mWA Information Night but would like to know more, or if you would like to join us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
